How to Join
Restrictions/Requirements:
- Due
to school restrictions our membership is limited to UofC students, faculty,
staff alumni, and their spouses. (there is a fee to access the athletic
facility - HCFH - for everyone but the current university students and
instructors)
- Since throwing inevitably
involves falling, practicing Judo presents risks to you and those around
you. You are expected to take the practices seriously and to follow the
directions of the instructor. Each club member must sign a liability waiver
to participate.
- Finally, it is very
useful to have a judo uniform (judogi) for practice. It costs around $30.
- for those of
you new to judo, wear athletic clothes when you first come to practice.
you may be able to acquire a judogi through the club.
